Romaine Saint Clair, Wolf shapeshifter, forgoes field work after an injury. But after meeting fellow therian Cat-sidhe El and regaining his confidence, he takes up his badge once more, patrolling the English-Welsh borders. The supernatural community needs protection but soon Romaine finds there's a threat from within, one connected to his shooting, one that he must stop at any cost.​
